Grey: 2 facts about my favorite things

I have so many favorite things I don’t know what to choose, errrhh…!

1. Synesthesia (explanation here) is kind of one of my favorite things, since it deepens my experiences of life - and gives extra touch for art, when you’re able to smell, touch, describe the colours and sense the presence of the characters you’re about to draw. The personal scent of the characters is extremely powerful for me, though this “sense, feel, smell the characters” has some disadvantages, too. For example if the character has very strong presence/scent, it requires lots of efforts from me to get to draw him/her right. It’s like…. telling you need to draw a house and everyone else can draw a small cottage but I HAVE TO draw the whole damn Notre Dame with every single detail and if I can’t get it right the picture is ruined. It’s frustrating. These kind of characters need A LOT of attention beforehand even for the tiniest simplest doodle. 
Well, all of us have our own challenges, eh?! 

2. Raiden is definitely my favorite “thing” when it comes to the characters. I’m sure he will earn the Forever Special Spot from my heart, even after the time spend with him will end (the one and only character who has managed to earn this Forever Special Spot is Modo from Biker Mice from Mars. He’s pure gold).
Don’t ask me why Raiden is the muse. I have no explanation for that. Except perhaps “It’s Magic!”-kind of an answer. Though I have to admit his fabulous eyelashes and high heels are pretty convincing to me. He’s also so easy to draw, which is a big big plus.
